I had some communication issues at first and wasn't really pleased with my service adviser Almina Redzic. I wont get into it here because I don't want to embarrass her, but if the manager wants to call me, we can talk about it further. Almina, I recognize you are relatively new. I've been in the automotive industry for over 10 years and the best advise I can give you is have a good attitude. Try to show an urge to want to help people and provide exceptional customer service, because people talk.. And when someone has a bad experience, guess who they are going to tell? Their friend. And that friend might tell another. And that friend might change the story up worse and tell another and so on. Have people want to come back to you. Its a good feeling. Anyways, shout out to the manager Paul for saving the day. You're awesome man. Vw of Oakland has phenomenal technicians. My car is great shape, so thank you. My business stays with you guys even if I have to drive past concord and skip Vw of Concord.
I am very happy with the service of this dealer.I needed help to check the tire pressure of my car and Roberto from the service department help me.He was very fast and very effective thank you so much.!
How do a few issues with my service advisor but the management came and straightened everything out they are a real standup crew that's why I change my review to five stores
I walked into the Volkswagen earlier today to get my car checked out because I will be going on a 10 hour road trip this weekend. I was immediately greeted by two kind men. Roberto checked the tire pressure on all four of my wheels and found that the right back tire had a nail. He advised me to get a completely new tire because the damage the nail had made was extensive. After Roberto put air into my tires, Jaime offered to clean out the inside of my car and left it spotless! The staff at Volkswagen is definitely enthusiastic. The whole atmosphere was extremely welcoming and friendly. Would definitely recommend!
Volkswagen of Oakland was very accommodating and a pleasure doing business with. Samuel Leyva was very helpful and patient with us and a pleasure to work with overall. Only issue I had would have been the financing with they tried to push when we decided to pay it out right in cash, but I understand where they are coming from so I don't completely blame them. They were only trying to give us our options. Overall, I'm happy with the experience and would recommend to others.
Ive never been to oakland volkswagen however I was impressed by thier customer service. Nacho was a big help! He took the time to explain things to me without pushing me to buy.
Nacho made the whole car buying process pretty easy and fast, and even delivered the car to San Jose which saved me a lot of time and hassle. Although there was a misunderstanding on the price, I am very happy with my new car.
I had a horrible experience here in the past, and so steeled myself when I recently had a problem only a VW Dealership could address. BUT -- this time service reps and service department were very helpful and attentive. My only suggestion is to implement a case management system, because every time I called and got a different service rep I had to re-explain my problem.
I had the pleasure of taking in my 2011 beige Jetta for its 60k service this week. At the service desk, a kind gentleman named Charlie helped me out and all I can say is WOW, what great customer service VW of Oakland has. I used to be scared of going into dealers and car mechanics but Charlie made me feel like we had been friends for years, or even roommates! He explained to me everything my car needed, what could wait, and what he recommended he would do if it was his beige Jetta instead. I don't want my car to break down soon but am looking forward to coming to this dealership because it was so enjoyable! So maybe it wouldn't be so bad after all. Not to mention, before it was my turn in line, a tall angry woman was giving Charlie the business about something out of his control and he was extremely professional with her. I would've cracked and threw my coffee on her if I was him after she called him a "short Dave Franco-looking a** mother f****r" but he remained incredibly calm under her verbal assaults. The nerve of some people! When I got up to Charlie I apologized for that oral smackdown and he just said "Eh, I've had worse". Thank you Charlie for doing the work that would send me to jail if I had to do. I appreciated everything you did for me that day and I hope you see this! Also, Angie and Alfreda were very kind to me and helped me get a Lyft to get to work. I didn't know VW did this but this should be the standard at every dealership. I used to drive a Fiat and had to catch the bus after dropping that piece of crud off at the dealership. Fix it again Tony! In summary, great experience.
I highly commend the service advisory staff at Volkswagen of Oakland, the dealership exemplfied quality of service from moment I drove my car in for service. I had been told that my left brake light was not working. While I did not have an appoitment my service advisor Bryan Arnold understood it was a safety issue and graciously assessed the problem. He tested all lights and found a second problem with my right turning signal. I was grateful that he took the time to fully test and to replace the bulbs in an efficient amount of time. I've been telling all my friends about the great professional service that I received at Volkswagen of Oakland. Bryan Arnold you are the best!!
